    History of Judgeship The Dausa District was constituted on 10th April 1991 by separating 4 Tehsils namely Dausa, Baswa, Sikrai & Lalsot of Jaipur district. Mahwa Tehsil of Sawai Madhopur was included in this district on 15th August 1992. Dausa district is located in the eastern part of the state of Rajasthan . The district of Dausa is surrounded by Alwar district in the north, Sawai Madhopur district in the south, Bharatpur district in the northeast, Karauli district in the southeast and Jaipur district in the west. The city of Dausa is situated in the north-eastern region of Rajasthan, a region widely known as Dundhar.The Chouhans & Badgurjars ruled this land in 10th Century A.D. Dausa has priviledged to become First capital of the then Dundhar Region. Inauguration of new building of Dausa District Court Complex was done by former Hon’ble the Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court Sh. A.P. Ravani on 5th August 1995. New building of District Court has three wings. First wing has court & office of District & Sessions Judge, in Second wing courts & offices of ADJ Dausa & ACJM Dausa is running. Third wing of building is exclusively for Spl. Judge SC/ST (PA) Court, CJM Dausa and JM Dausa. One separate new building is constructed exclusively for Gram Nyayalaya, Dausa in this campus.
